Nomination Day - We’re official

I filed my nomination papers today at 10:00 a.m. I am proud to be running for a second term on City Council. I’m ready to earn your support, and to keep building a great city that is focused on a positive future.

I look forward to having many more great conversations with the residents of Ward 10 in the next four weeks about the kind of city you want.

I come to this conversation with a comprehensive platform and clear priorities. I will offer up the following priorities enthusiastically through the coming weeks.

I will share my vision for continued LRT development and how we make it work better for the communities it passes through.

I will share my vision for how we create sustainable mature neighbourhoods that attract new families with new students for schools and new customers for local businesses and complete suburban communities with all of the amenities and community hubs citizens and families need to meet their needs and be connected to their neighbours.

I will share my vision about how we continue to build a strong local economy through better regional economic development and land use planning.

And as I have my whole career I will continue to fight for an end to homelessness and for more affordable housing in all parts of Edmonton.

I invite you read my full platform, compare it carefully against other platforms, and make your choice.

I am hopeful and confident that my many years of public service and community building on top of my thoughtful first term of service and leadership will result in your continued support.

I am humbled by the endorsements I've received so far, and as always I invite you to reach out in whenever you can to ask me about the issues that matter to you and how together we can build the best city possible.

Do you have a campaign email address?

I would like to send you a candidate survey on behalf of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.

    Thank you,

    Colin Craig

You have devoted your life to community development and to listening carefully to the voices of the citizens you serve. I have witnessed this first hand, from years before you were an elected official. You’ve never compromised your core values of creating communities for those 8-80, and being a compassionate voice for those who are not heard. Ward 10 is very lucky to have you.
