Ward 10 Bike Lanes Meeting- Community voice matters
Tuesday, November 26th
7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30)
Southside Pentecostal Assembly Gymnasium
2821-109 Street, Edmonton AB.
During the lead up to the election on October 21st, I heard tremendous concerns about the installation of bicycle lanes in Ward 10, along 40th Avenue and 106th Street. In recent years concerns were raised about the lanes along Saddleback Road as well.
During the campaign I wrote a blog post outlining my views on Bike Lanes that you can read here.
The meeting on November 26th is intended to give Ward 10 residents a chance to share their views on the bike lanes in our neighbourhoods.
As the newly elected Vice-Chairperson of the City of Edmonton Transportation Committee I will use information gathered at this meeting to revisit and improve south-side bicycle infrastructure and help us improve future bicycle lane implementation across Edmonton.
If you have any question or are planning to attend please email Michael.firstname.lastname@example.org or call 780-496-8132
This will be a facilitated meeting aimed at positive solutions and constructive feedback.
I hope to see you all there.
City Councillor, Ward 10
